Chris tucker's tax troubles continue to get worse. The actor and comedian has been slapped with a new $2.5 million fine from the IRS in addition to the $12 million he reportedly already owes the agency. The new bill brings his total to over $14 million in past due taxes.
According to TMZ, Tucker owes back taxes on a handful of years between 2001 and 2010. A rep for the actor claims he settled his debt just this past Friday.
Hopefully the Rush Hour star can keep Uncle Sam out of his pockets from now on by staying on top of his filings! This could mean, however, that we see a lot more of Tucker on the bug screen as he works to rebuild his savings.
